About

My name is Michael I grew up a military brat moved back and forth between Norfolk, VA and San Diego, Ca. As a kid the only good thing my mother did was get me interested in photography, she would drag me out of bed as a kid to go to the beach in Norfolk to capture sunrise photos, never once did she teach me anything but she did light the spark that would later become my passion. When I was in Cali from the beaches of La Jolla to the Mohave desert there is beauty in all the landscapes. When I was 18 I joined the Marine Corps so I could travel the world and see the beauty the rest of the world had to offer, after the Marines I Switched over to the Army and luckily I got to travel more.  I’ve always had a good eye I am a firm believer that good photography requires a good photographer not an expensive camera. I’ve caught some stunning shots on a disposable camera while I was deployed to Iraq moved up to a small digital while I was in Australia and Singapore. My first DLSR was a Nikon d3100 took an award winning photo plus many other great photos with that as you all will see. Sadly that camera broke on a photo shoot, and now a couple years late I wanna move from amateur to professional I am buying a new camera to keep improving my skills, I am Nikon loyal, I will be buying a D5600 to hopefully win more awards with, Even if I don’t the stories that these photos will tell will be grand.
